Whether it's Twelve Lords a Leaping, or Five Gold Rings, each room will have breathtaking installations and delightful surprises around every corner. This year we will welcome an extension of the gift shop in The Old Kitchen to discover a wide array of handcrafted treasures and one-of-a-kind gifts used in each installation.

Saturday 18th November | Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre | 10:30am - 12:30pm | Tickets: £7.50, or £6 RSPB members

Where else can you meet the Bride of Frankenstein, The Man-Eating Caterpillar and Medusa?

Get acquainted with Sherwood Forests world famous ancient oaks by joining a tree expert. Sherwood Forest has one of the highest densities of ancient oaks in the world. These impressive trees provide vital habitat for an abundance of species and play a crucial role in supporting the health of the forest.

The walk leader will introduce you to a handful of these giants, giving you an insight into the life of a veteran oak. You will also get to hear the legendary tales of trees such as Rotten Roger and how they got their names.

Who is this for?

This walk is for all ages, although it may be challenging for families with pushchairs. Well behaved dogs are welcome but should be kept on leads. The walk will last approximately 90 minutes, so the venue suggests that you bring suitable clothing and footwear.

Shaun the Sheep: Find the Flock at Clumber Park starts this weekend from 10am - 4pm. You can expect twelve uniquely designed, super-sized sculptures of Shaun the Sheep to be positioned at iconic locations across the park. Can you discover them all on this family-friendly art trail?

You won't want to miss out on 5 hilarious stand-up comedians performing live in an actual cave. The caves are located beneath the beautiful Whistle & Flute pub on Derby Road, Nottingham, and offer the perfect blend of laughter and adventure in a truly unique environment.

Who is this for?

This event would make the perfect date night! Why not make a night of it and wander into town after the show and enjoy a drink at one of the amazing bars in Nottingham? Please note that this event is an 18+ event and may contain strong language.

From a youngsters' first Scottish dancing experience to old-timers out enjoying a burl, join this ceilidh (pronounced ‘kay-lea’) at the Boat & Horses for a unique and fun night out. The event will include either recorded or live music and Schuggie, who will be calling the dances and explaining what you need to do as you go along.

Suitable for all ages and abilities, simply rock up and join in the dancing. It’s more fun with a friend or a group, so round up your loved ones and bring them along! You can join in jeans, full highland dress or anything in between, meaning it has never been easier to try something new.
