The Original Nottingham Ghost Walk is a storytelling tour around the Castle Quarter of the city. It is easy walking, about 1/2 mile long and takes approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours. You will hear about the Cursed Galleon of Ye Olde Trip and Nottingham's only pirate among other fantastic and spooky tales from history before descending into the caves beneath the Salutation Inn.

Wherever in the world you are from, you will discover that the story of William ‘Bendigo’ Thompson is a compelling one. Born in Nottingham during the early 1800’s and despite being illiterate and poor, his physique and agility as a prize fighter brought him success. His outspoken character and natural ability as a boxer attracted a massive fan base, including Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who wrote a verse to the fighter.
