We’ve teamed up with Nottinghamshire’s premier family festival Gloworm and Hilton Nottingham to give one lucky family the chance to win a weekend of epic fun for kids and their grown ups.

This fabulous prize includes a family ticket (two adults and two children) with a VIP upgrade for the whole weekend, giving entry for Saturday 16th August & Sunday 17th August from 10am till 10pm. Normally priced £300 with VIP weekend upgrades £50 per person, the Gloworm prize is worth £500. 

You will also be staying at the luxurious Hilton Nottingham hotel in Nottingham. This city centre hotel is a beautiful Victorian building featuring a 60-foot indoor heated pool, indoor sauna, and a Bric Bar & Kitchen which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. You are sure to be well catered for during your stay.

Taking place in a beautiful country park setting at Holme Pierrepont, the all inclusive festival is action packed from start to finish with stage shows, workshops, play zones, outdoor adventure, fairground and live music. The dedicated VIP area has model making workshops with Aardman Animations (Chicken Run, Wallace and Gromit); spectacular science experiments and gooey slime making with Sublime Science and Soft Play.

All the children’s favourites are on the line up from CBeebies stars including the hugely popular Bedtime Stories, Andy and his Dino Raps, and BAFTA award-winning presenter Maddie Moate with her show exploring the world and how stuff works. That’s not all though, with Elmer The Patchwork Elephant, Bing and Flop, Bluey and Bingo, Paw Patrol and much, much more making up the on stage entertainment, with many taking part in meet and greets too.

Grown ups will be taken on a trip down memory lane with a throwback to their own childhoods with Mr Blobby, Care Bears, Bodger and Badger all making an appearance and live music from N-Trance; Spice World The Tribute; Noasis; Lolly; Taylor Swift Tribute and Fatboy Tim, plus Nottingham’s own Johnny and The Raindrops, and the popular Playmobil Rave.

Popular festival zones offer loads to do from the Playmobil Village, Smoby Play Zone, Organix Big Picnic and stories with CBeebies and Elmer, the patchwork elephant. Circus acts and hands on skills, a Big Top taking it back to the 90s and White Post Farm bringing their animals will all add to the festival experience.

This year will also have adrenaline-fuelled activities both on and off the water. Check out mini golf, the Sky Trail, mini Land Rovers, the lake’s Wipeout inflatable obstacle course, kayaking and archery.

What makes this festival extra special is all the entertainment is included in the admission, so there are no hidden extras, even all the fairground rides remain free up until 5pm each day.

As part of the weekend away, you will win an overnight stay in a family room at the Hilton Nottingham on both Friday 16th and Saturday 17th August 2024, perfect for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel is located in a convenient city centre location perfect for transport links to the Gloworm Festival. As part of your stay, you can take advantage of their LivingWell Health Club with indoor swimming pool, sauna, and 24- hour gym, and their fantastic Bric Bar & Kitchen which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

They also offer high speed WiFi and boast 176 guest bedrooms as well as 7 conference and meeting rooms for up to 200 delegates. There is limited on-site parking, but they have a special rate with an NCP multi-storey car park just opposite the hotel. If you're not driving, they have excellent road, rail, bus and air links as they are walking distance from the train station.

• Prize must be claimed within 48 hours of being contacted, or will be deemed unclaimed. An unclaimed prize will be returned to the event organiser and another winner will be drawn.
• One entry per person.
• You must be able to take the prize over the weekend of 17th & 18th August 2024.
• The winner will be chosen at random.
• The winners contact details will be shared with Gloworm Festival and Hilton Nottingham to arrange receipt of the prize as the involved venues will require access to these contact details to confirm further arrangements.
