There are a number of carparks throughout Nottingham City Centre, and in various places you can find Park Smart signs which tell you how many spaces there are left in each car park.
In 2022, Nottingham’s Council-run car parks received a national award for high safety standards and the reassurance they provide to the public. All 21 of the City Council’s off-street facilities have been handed Park Mark status, which is issued by the British Parking Association on behalf of the police.

There are also lots of on street parking spaces around the city centre, where you can park from as little as £1. Coming into the city for the evening? Parking is free on street after 8pm until 8am the following morning.

If you have an electric car, you will be happy to hear that over 300 charging points have been installed across the Nottinghamshire region, including spots at Victoria Centre, Broadmarsh Car Park and the Forest Recreation Ground. You can find a full list of charging points here.
