Access Card is in place to provide a more efficient and dignified way to communicate needs and evidence disability. The card translates the individual’s disability or impairment into symbols to highlight the barriers faced and the reasonable adjustments the business may need to make. It may gain those individuals access to additional benefits such as concessionary ticket prices too – all without the pain of exchanging long, drawn-out conversations to arrive at this information.
