Norwood Park
Adult: £15pp | Child: £5pp
Sir John Starkey Bt invites the Octogenarians, their spouses, partners, carers, family and friends to a Birthday Tea Party at Norwood Park.
To mark the 80 years since VE day 1945, the end of the second World War, when The British Red Cross Society was in occupation of the Hall as a convalescent home for wounded servicemen.
Guests can enjoy a display of memorabilia with accompanying history talk before the afternoon tea is served. Followed by a performance from the Carlton Male Voice Choir. Additionally, at the request of Sir John Starkey, who will be celebrating his 80th birthday on May 8th, we'll be serving a slice of birthday cake to all guests also turning 80!
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the British Red Cross Society.
