The farm covers around 25 acres of land, with more than 3,000 animals! These include classic farm animals, with many rare-breeds such as Oxford Sandy and Black pigs and Greyface Dartmoor sheep! As well as this, they are home to some more exotic animals, such as Armadillo’s and Crocodiles!
White Post Farm encourage you to get stuck in with animals, with opportunities to feed animals such as the sheep & goats in the fields, and even the guinea pigs inside the Silver Barn. They even offer the opportunity to get up close and spend some time with your favourite animal, by booking an Animal Encounter - they love the attention and are all very friendly.
Whatever the weather, there is plenty of play! With the outdoor play options including; Merv’s Lookout, the Sky Jumpers, The Beach & The Go-Kart Track. As well as some indoor play such as Miniville and the BRAND NEW Jungle Barn, an immersive jungle-themed play area for the avid climbers and exploring, including the Jungle Cafe for the adults!
White Post Farm is an ideal place to visit, even on wet and windy days, as over half of the farm is under cover, phew! This includes our Silver Barn, which is home to many rare-breeds, and depending on the time of year, our piglets, lambs & kids too! Alongside this, they have the new ‘Reptiles of the World’ exhibition, where you can see many reptiles from around the world… including our crocodiles!
If you fancy an outdoor stroll, why not take on the field walk and see some larger outside animals too? You can feed most of these animals with four-legged food which can be purchased from the entrance gate (£1.50 per bag)! White Post Farm’s field animals include alpacas, pigs, donkeys, sheep, cows, goats, deer, wallabies and so much more.
You can enjoy exclusive packages such as a Farmer or Reptile Keeper Experience, in which you are paired with a member of the team for either a morning or afternoon, where you can shadow and get stuck in!
