Nottingham Beach is back for 2024 and it’s bigger than ever! Prepare for an exciting sun-soaked adventure as Nottingham's favourite beach returns to Old Market Square.

Bringing a bigger and better sandy beach and pool area, Nottingham residents and visitors have even more reason to cool off and escape the summer heat, all alongside the new, stylish Santorini-themed beach bar. What makes a beach more than just a beach? Rides and attractions! With something for all the family, expect to see the iconic Starflyer, bungee trampolines, hook-a-duck, bumper boats, and much more.

The Mellors Group is setting the summer stage with sand, pool, thrilling rides, mouth-watering food, refreshing drinks, and games to keep the excitement going all summer long.

Bromley House Library, founded in 1816, is a flourishing independent lending library situated in the centre of Nottingham and is one of the few remaining subscription libraries in the country.

These tours allow you to discover the history, collections and inhabitants past and present of this historic building and library. The library is closed on a Sunday, so you will get to experience behind closed doors, there will also be books on display that will really give visitors an insight into some of the rarer and unique items.

You can also expect to meet staff to talk about how they care and look after the books, and also tell you more about collections on display.

Pawsby Fun Dog Show is coming back to Thoresby Park this weekend! Whether you’re competing or spectating, there is fun to be had for all. There will be several classes throughout the day, including Most Handsome Chap, Waggiest Tail and Golden Oldie.

Thoresby Park, within the heart of Nottinghamshire, is a lovely place to visit all year round with a range of attractions for all the family no matter how young or old. The extensive grounds cover over 1000 acres of rich unspoilt English countryside, with a range of facilities and attractions open to the public all year round.

Join Belvoir Castle at their Antiques Day this weekend. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or simply looking for a unique day out, there’s something for everyone.

TV star, antiques and collector specialist Paul Martin will be joining the event as a special guest to host an intimate audience session, sharing his extensive knowledge and passion for antiques as well as signing copies of his latest book. Additionally, he will be offering personal valuations for the general public, giving you the opportunity to learn more about your treasured items so make sure you bring them along.

Paul will also be talking about the unique antiques from Belvoir Castle’s own collection, personally selected by Her Grace, The Duchess of Rutland. Learn more about these historical pieces, which have their own story and elegance in what will be a very special day at Belvoir Castle.
