What To Expect
You can expect a mix of celebrity guests, cos-players, attractions, panels, traders and film & TV props as you walk around the event. They also offer fantastic packages including photo opportunities, satellite events and autograph stations.
A major part of the Em-Con experience is the Question and Answer panels held with the celebrity guests, hosted by Al Booth (Notts TV). This is an excellent opportunity to find out the secrets and stories from the stars behind your favourite shows, as you will have the chance to ask questions yourself! The panels run throughout the weekend in the Bolero Suite at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham.
Photoshoots are the perfect way to record the day you met one of your heroes. They’re taken by professional photographers and printed to the highest quality which makes them perfect for framing and cherishing. You even get to collect your photo on the day! They are easy to purchase directly from the Em-Con website.
And no convention weekend would be complete without a cosplay competition! Show off your costumes to the judges over the weekend to have a chance at winning prizes. To enter, simply head to the Geek Asylum table and give them your details.
