Saturday 2 December 2023 | 10:00 til 15:00
Nottingham Central Library
Free but ticketed
Join us for Wargaming Day at Central Library. Are you into 'Star Wars Legion'? Or 'Middle Earth Strategy Game? Or perhaps you're just curious about tabletop gaming and want to know more? Long-term fans and new players alike are welcome. Paint your miniatures, play games and learn new ones with other enthusiasts.
During the day, there will be tables set up for your games and a table for painting and crafting. There will also be terrain boxes so you can set up your boards and make the game more immersive. Staff members will be available throughout the day to run demos of various games for you to learn and play. For the crafting tables, the library will provide basic equipment, but it is recommended that you bring some of your own equipment, as is typical at other tabletop gaming events.
The event will run from 10am to 3pm on Saturday 2 December. This event is a drop-in but tables and demos are bookable. Tables can be booked for 2-4 players. Demos of Star Wars Legion and Middle Earth can also be booked. Once you book your demo, please contact joshua.passey@nottinghamcity.gov.uk with the game you would like to play.
