Starting off as a small project in 2018, Patryk Frąc (piano) and Miguel Suay (violin), both graduates of the Royal College of Music in London, soon became a full capacity duet. With focus on Spanish and Polish music at first, it quickly encompassed more varied repertoire spanning to jazz or even original compositions.
During its busiest time of development, the Duo has managed to impress with their playing many distinguished musicians, including Kathron Sturrock, Leonid Kerbel, Aitzol Iturriagagoitia and Sergey Teslya to name a few.
This will be the second time Patryk and Miguel will play for the Nottingham audience, returning after a mini-recital given at the Royal Concert Hall in autumn 2023 which was very well received. Most recently, the Duo has been successful performing in international competitions achieving 2nd place in V Festival Internacional de Música (Spain) and 1st place in XXI MusikTalente (Germany), always being applauded for its natural synergy and truly unparalleled attention to detail in music making.
You can view a full program for the evening by following the website link at the top of this page.
All music lovers are wholeheartedly invited to what promises to be a world class recital.
