Meet ‘Goosey’, famously known by Notts folk as the Goose Fair goose who sits on the Goose Fair roundabout on Mansfield Road.
Every year, Goosey comes out of hibernation and is an iconic piece to the annual Goose Fair which takes place at the Forest Recreation ground the first weekend in October. She has sat on the Mansfield Road roundabout since the 1960s.
The model, thought to be female but not scientifically tested, is made from fibreglass and timber, and is about 6ft 6ins (2m) tall and weighs about a quarter of a tonne.

* Only located on the roundabout during the annual Goose Fair held in October.
