Southwell Music Festival – A Christmas Celebration
Seasonal words and music
Join us for our annual Christmas Celebration in the atmospheric surroundings of Southwell Minster. The Southwell Festival Voices join with director Marcus Farnsworth to offer a selection of carols both old and new. Music to be performed includes composers Cornelius, Warlock, Howells and Frances-Hoad.
This special evening will reflect on the themes of hope and peace, which are central to the Christmas story.
This atmospheric and entertaining evening, combining both sacred and secular music, will draw on celebrations of Christmases long past through to the present day.
