About

Offering 4K projection, 7.1 surround sound and high-end comfort, Broadway is one of the UK’s leading independent cinemas that attracts over 400,000 visitors each year to its four-screen state-of-the-art cinemas, Cafébar and hireable meeting, workshop and office spaces. It’s the only cinema in the world with a screen designed by Sir Paul Smith and has hosted premieres – both unofficial and official – for international filmmakers such as Shane Meadows (A ROOM FOR ROMEO BRASS, THIS IS ENGLAND) and Quentin Tarantino (RESERVOIR DOGS, PULP FICTION) - with their legacy adorning the walls of the upstairs bar.

Broadway is also the home to award-winning filmmakers such as Jeanie Finlay (GAME OF THRONES: THE LAST WATCH, SEAHORSE: THE DAD WHO GAVE BIRTH) and Wellington Studios (BAFTA Scotland award-winning CALIBRE, LONDON TO BRIGHTON) who regularly receive international acclaim for their work.

Broadway’s wider role includes encouraging the development of new, young talent through programmes such as the BFI Film Academy and Into Film, and supporting innovation and enterprise for people working in the creative and digital industries with initiatives such the Near Now Fellowship.

Customers can securely park at the Lace Market Car Park (NG1 1QE) or Broad Marsh Car Park (NG1 7FE) - both of which are £5* for four hours for Broadway customers. You will need to validate your parking ticket at our Box Office, allowing you to automatically get the reduced price at the car park pay stations. Present your parking ticket to the box office assistant before or after the film and they will encode it for you.
