About

Award winning Browns of Holbeck, Boutique Bed and Breakfast, established 30 years ago, provides adult only accommodation. They are the proud holders of the only 5 Star Gold Award with Visit England in North Nottinghamshire.

Browns is located in The Dukeries and Sherwood Forest district of North Nottinghamshire, on the Welbeck Ducal Country Estate, 7 miles from the iconic Robin Hood Tree, 6 miles from the M1 and 9 miles from the A1.  They are situated less than one mile from The Courtyard at Welbeck, and less than a two mile drive to The School of Artisan Food, which can also be reached by a mile walk on country lanes from Browns.

They offer the closest bed and breakfast accommodation to Creswell Crags, a stunning limestone gorge with a history dating back 60,000 years.  The Crags can be reached from Browns, by either a quiet and secluded mile walk on a lane and country fields, part of The Robin Hood Way, or by a two mile drive.

Each of the three luxurious guest en-suite garden rooms have free Wi-Fi and is equipped with a fridge.  Guests are very welcome to bring a light supper with them and enjoy it on one of the terrace tables or in their room.  Guests have the option of accommodation on a room only basis, or for an extra £12 per person per day, one of their award winning breakfasts, served in the dining room of the cottage, built in 1730 and over looking the garden.  There is ample off road parking.

Browns of Holbeck was awarded the Best Accommodation Provider and Joan Brown also received the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry, in the 2012 Nottinghamshire STARS Awards.  They were also one of the five finalists in the Visit England Awards for Excellence, 2014, receiving The Highly Commended Award on 12th May 2014, proudly representing Nottinghamshire in the finals.

Awarded Trip Advisor Service Excellence Certificate for 2015.
