White Post Farm are teaming up with the brilliant Gloworm Festival this festive season to bring you the brand new enchanting ‘Light Post Farm’ light trail! Wander through the 1km festive farm trail illuminated by sparkling lights, and enjoy a variety of seasonal delights.

Your admission includes access to the Mini Christmas Market, where you can indulge in hot chocolate, roast marshmallows, and savour sweet treats. Join Ginger Snap to decorate gingerbread or create some magical reindeer dust to take home for Christmas Eve.

Don’t miss the chance to see new born lambs, expected to arrive in early December, and enjoy full access to the farm, including the Reptiles of the World Exhibit and the indoor Jungle Barn.

Belvoir Castle’s Retail Village is preparing for a busy Christmas season as winter food and gift stalls, yuletide workshops, carol singers, choirs and even Santa Claus himself descends on the estate this weekend. 

Starting on Saturday 23rd November and running until Sunday 22nd December, a lineup of events has been curated to celebrate the festive season in style. 

Father Christmas will be stopping off at Belvoir during his busy schedule to join families for a special breakfast in a memorable Santa experience, as well as a traditional Santa’s Grotto where little ones will have the chance to share their wishes and receive a gift. 

Youngsters who want to get outside can also enjoy Belvoir’s Adventure Playground, which has been transformed into a Christmas Trail filled with challenges, hidden surprises and lots of festive fun for little ones. 


Stapleford Christmas Lights Switch On 2024

5. Stapleford Christmas Lights Switch On 2024

Saturday 23rd November | Victoria Street, Stapleford | 12pm - 6.30pm | FREE

Broxtowe’s much-anticipated Christmas Lights Switch-On events kick off in Stapleford on Victoria Street, the Victoria Street car park, and Walter Parker VC Memorial Square.

The Christmas market opens at 12pm, offering a range of festive treats and gifts. Visitors can enjoy delicious hot food, sweets, and donuts, as well as browse various community stalls. Children can get into the holiday spirit with face painting and glitter tattoos.

Santa Claus will make a special appearance at his grotto inside The Stapleford & Bramcote Conservative Club. From 2pm to 4:30pm, children can meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes, and experience the holiday magic.

The Christmas Lights Switch-On ceremony, led by the Mayor of Broxtowe and the Stapleford Town Mayor, will be held at 5:30pm, followed by a grand firework display at 6:30pm.
