1. Nottinghamshire County Show 2024
Saturday 11 May I 9am - 5pm | Newark Showground | Tickets: £18 (16 and under go free)
The County Show showcases the best of farming, countryside and rural life and we are proud to be celebrating our local agricultural community with attractions including livestock, equine, local food producers and craft stalls, countryside competitions, trade stands and more!
You can enjoy a variety of areas including a Countryside Area, where you can experience fun countryside activities, a Community Zone showcasing county-wide groups, a Home and Garden Hub jam packed with floral displays and the Festival of Food, where you can indulge in the best of food, shopping, and music.
You can also shop till’ you drop with lots of stalls, watch all the equine and livestock competitions and variety of acts and displays happening all day in the Main Ring!
2. Ladies Day at Nottingham Racecourse

Tenacious D are bringing The Spicy Meatball Tour to Nottingham this weekend!
The legendary rock duo are going to showcase their rock greatness to their army of loyal fans. It marks Tenacious D's long-awaited return to the UK stage, a hiatus since 2019. Their live performance promises an energetic, rock rollercoaster of fun that will take fans on a journey of their exhilarating catalogue of classic hits.

4. National Mills Weekend at Green's Windmill
Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th May | 10am - 4pm | Green's Windmill | FREE
National Mills Weekend is the annual festival of the UK's milling heritage, so celebrate by visiting Nottingham's 19th Century windmill.
Climb the mill to see the breath-taking views (don't forget a camera!) and learn how grain is turned into flour using 200 year old methods.
Green's Windmill in Sneinton was built by the father of notable scientist and mathematician George Green in 1807. Today the working Mill is a popular museum and science centre, which teaches new generations of children about the valuable work of George Green.
5. Nottingham Vintage Pop Up
