The multi award winning Robin Hood Town Tour is the definitive way to learn about our world famous legend and to find the best that Nottingham has to offer.

Enjoy this guided walking tour of Nottingham City Centre and learn how simple ballads grew over 700 years into one of the greatest stories ever told. This fun, theatrical exploration of the legend is told against the back drop of the city and its unique history. As you visit places associated with Robin Hood, you will also see the town's key sites of interest and learn about its past, present and future. Robin will also point out the best places to eat, drink and make merry so you can make the most of your stay.

The tour ends at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem – the oldest pub in England - where people are invited to stop a while, refresh themselves and quaff fine ales with Robin Hood.

Thoresby Park, within the heart of Nottinghamshire, is a lovely place to visit all year round with a range of attractions for all the family. The extensive grounds cover over 1000 acres of rich unspoilt English countryside, with a range of facilities and attractions open to the public all year round.

Thoresby Park Courtyard market, already well known for showcasing the best local crafters and artisans over the years is now being managed by Little Hummingbird Events.

Little Hummingbird Events will be working in collaboration with the team at Thoresby Park to enhance the offering to bring a selection of local creatives, makers and artists, with a varied selection of handmade crafts and food.

You can also catch this market on selected Sundays in April, June, August and November.

Join William De Tankerville, The Sheriff of Nottingham’s Master at Arms, as he takes you on a tour of the majestic Greenwood, sharing stories of medieval life and the villainous Robin Hood.

William has become very familiar with Sherwood while on the hunt for Robin Hood and knows the most beautiful pathways... and the deadliest! Although do not fear good citizens of Nottingham, not even the dastardly Hood would dare take on the Sheriffs most experienced warrior.

This is a wonderful way to reconnect with nature, and a lovely day out for those who are interested in medieval history or the legend of Robin Hood. The walk will last approximately 90 minutes, so the venue asks that you bring suitable clothing and footwear. You can also join the event on Saturday 23rd March and selected Saturdays in April if you can’t make it this weekend.

With your choice of tea or freshly ground coffee and a chocolate fudge brownie. You will be allocated a hour and a half for your Crafternoon.

You will be provided with an introduction from the Debbie Bryan team on tips and techniques before you'll be set on your way to creating your own design. You will also choose between a Terracotta Pot or Saucer, and various decorative options.
