If you're searching for an unforgettable night of entertainment, look no further than The Renaissance at Kelham Hall in Nottinghamshire. We were recently invited to enjoy a three course meal and a show, where we were raptured by QE2 The Very Best of Queen Tribute Night, one of the best Queen tribute artists touring in the UK at the moment.
The experience began with a drive up the long, tree-lined driveway, ending with the sight of the beautifully lit Kelham Hall, a grand Grade I listed building which that sets the stage for a night of decadent food and live music. The grand entryway welcomes you with open arms, setting the tone for an evening filled with elegance and excitement. The welcome drink was a welcome touch and a delightful extravagance – with a non-alcoholic option also available.
Step inside the main event space, and you'll find yourself in a beautifully decorated and unique room adorned with elegant string lights, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in the decor and architecture enhances the overall experience, making it a feast for the eyes.
No entertainment experience is complete without a well-stocked bar, and Kelham Hall does not disappoint. From classic cocktails to your favourite beverages, the bar ensures that your drink preferences are catered to with finesse. Sip on a refreshing drink as you enjoy the lively atmosphere and prepare yourself for the main event. The attentive wait staff were also on hand to take drinks orders and make sure you were catered for.
As we explored the venue, we soon found our table, laden with gorgeous dining places and brightly polished silverware, adding a touch of sophistication to the night. The pre-show meal was a perfect setting for a delightful evening. We ordered ahead from a set menu, so we knew what to expect. The crab cakes and sticky toffee pudding were a firm favourite at our table, with the latter being topped off with lashings of sumptuously thick custard. The menu items also included vegan and vegetarian options, including a Vegan Chocolate Brownie.
After the meal, the band took to the stage and the glittering dancefloor beckoned, promising a night of music and merriment. The spacious dancefloor was the perfect stage for guests to join in and dance the night away, fully immersed in the Queen tribute experience.
Kelham Hall's diverse calendar of events, ranging from comedy shows to live music performances, offers something for everyone. This Queen tribute band performance, set against the backdrop of the stunning venue, was a fantastic highlight. So, don't miss your chance to indulge in a night of elegance – secure your tickets now and get ready to create lasting memories at The Renaissance Kelham Hall.
