1. Beat The Streets 2024
Sunday 28th January | Various venues | From 1pm | Tickets: from a minimum donation of £10
Don’t miss Nottingham’s popular and annual charity music festival, Beat The Streets, which brings the community together to battle homelessness.
Over the past few years, Beat The Streets has brought the music community in Nottingham together to raise awareness and funds for a vital cause; providing a stellar day of live music in the process, with over £409,000 raised across ticket, bar & merchandise sales for Framework since 2018.
In the past, Beat The Streets fundraising has enabled the Sneinton Hermitage shelter to stay open all year round accommodating more than 60 high risk service users with 14 moving on to permanent accommodation and 25 to supported accommodation.
It currently holds the national UK Festival Award Community Impact title for the festival judged to be making the most difference to its community.
2. Saltburn Bottomless Brunch

3. Just the Tonic Comedy Club

Just the Tonic have been producing comedy shows in Nottingham for over 25 years and is described by many comedians as one of the best comedy venues in the country.
They bring you four different acts at every Standard Saturday show including some of the best up & coming comperes and headliners from the UK & abroad.
With Just the Tonic's notorious reputation for the best comedy line ups in the country, you can be sure you are getting one of the best nights in town.
This Saturday, catch Spencer Jones, Adam Bloom, Aaron Wood, and Darrell Martin at either the earlier 7pm or later 9pm shows. And remember – if you can’t make it this weekend, catch them for another Saturday show in 2024.
4. QE2 - The Very Best of Queen Tribute Night

Join the Renaissance at Kelham Hall for a night of musical magic as they pay homage to the legendary rock band, Queen. Immerse yourself in the iconic sounds and timeless hits of Queen, brought to life by an incredible tribute band that captures the essence of Freddie Mercury and company.
All QE2 band members have been creatively and technically inspired by Queen, each taking satisfaction and pride in producing this ultimate tribute to Queen each playing replica equipment adding that little extra sound characteristic and all performed in authentic costumes making it a show to remember.
Tickets include a welcome drink, gourmet dining and the Ultimate Queen Tribute. You can also expect a DJ following the show to help you dance the night away.
5. Holocaust Memorial Weekend
Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th January | The National Holocaust Centre and Museum | Museum opens at 10am last entry 3.30pm | Tickets: £15 Adults, £10 Concession & Children
Visit The National Holocaust Museum for a weekend of special events to remember the millions of victims of the Holocaust and reflect on the universal theme of the fragility of freedom.
Both days will include an exhibition tour, curatorial talk, and a Holocaust Survivor Speaker. You can also expect book signings, prayer and candle lightings as part of the weekend.
Since the Centre was established in 1995, it remains the first and only place of its kind in the UK. Dedicated to Holocaust remembrance and education, the surrounding countryside provides a peaceful setting and the Centre itself is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped Memorial Garden.
