What’s the saying, remember remember the 5th of November? Well I certainly won’t forget the fantastic Newark Family Fireworks Night that I attended this Bonfire Night in a hurry! Held at the beautiful Grade I listed Kelham Hall and hosted by The Renaissance at Kelham Hall it was a night to remember for all the family, young and old!
We gathered on this crisp November evening, anticipating a fine display just from what we had heard of the event last year. We certainly weren’t disappointed as the sky was set aglow with a stunning display of fireworks. The way they lit up the night to the beat of iconic music was simply magical all in the backdrop of the hall and staged in the sprawling grounds by Dynamite Fireworks. You couldn't help but be captivated by the bursts of colour and the familiar music in the air from Star Wars and James Bond to the Lion King and The Greatest Showman!
But it wasn't just the fireworks stealing the show; the atmosphere was electric. The DJ sets were on point, making sure the crowd was in the party spirit. People were dancing, laughing, and creating unforgettable memories all around.
And let's talk about the food - it was a real treat on a cold night! There was something for everyone, from mouthwatering Sri Lankan delights to sweet waffles and classic burgers and bangers - all washed down with drinks served from the outdoor bar bus, and inside the hall itself.
The little ones had their share of fun too, with fairground rides to keep them entertained, ensuring they had a blast before the main event plus there were photo opportunities aplenty with the fabulously flashy Globot getting amongst the crowd, a real crowd pleaser!
This was a night for the entire family to cherish, filled with laughter, delicious food entertainment, and, of course, those awe-inspiring fireworks. If you missed it, make sure to mark your calendar for the next Kelham Hall Family Fireworks Night in 2024. It's an evening you won't want to miss. See you there next time!
