1. Nottingham Pride 2023

Be part of a momentous celebration of love, diversity, and unity at Nottingham Pride 2023! This thrilling event kicks off with a vibrant visibility march, starting at 11am from the junction of Lister Gate and Castle Gate. Join over 11,000 LGBTQ+ individuals and allies as they proudly parade through the city center, culminating in a lively finale at Broad Street.
After the march, immerse yourself in the heart of Hockley along George Street and Goosegate, where educational stalls showcase the invaluable services, support, and information provided by local grassroots community groups, charities, organizations, and staff networks for LGBTQ+ people.
The festivities continue throughout the day, centred around a dazzling stage featuring a splendid lineup of artists from Nottinghamshire’s LGBTQ+ community. From spoken word poets to musicians and captivating drag artists, the performances will radiate joy and empowerment. Celebrate love and acceptance at Nottingham Pride 2023!
2. Gladrags: Notts Pride Afterparty

After the exhilarating Nottingham Pride march, the celebration continues at Metronome with Gladrags' spectacular LGBTQ+ party! Prepare to be wowed by 14 captivating performances across two sensational shows.
The evening will showcase an electrifying mix of drag and burlesque performances. Featuring artists from Nottingham and all over the UK, such as Rhysspieces, Coco Deville, Athena Barbital, Oedipussi Rex, Nana Arthole, Marilyn Sane, Liv, Bella Bestia and Vayne.
Plus, the Gladrags DJs - Boz, Baby Tap, and DJ Luxxxury - will keep the dance floor alive with an array of pop, electro, house, alternative, and LGBTQ+ anthems!

4. Nottingham Beach 2023 - City by the Sea

Escape to the seaside in the heart of Nottingham as the city's beloved Nottingham Beach returns to Old Market Square for another fantastic summer!
Enjoy the Giant Slip ‘n Slide, the largest inflatable urban waterslide in the UK, featuring two lanes for exhilarating races against friends. Little John, the waterpark with six lanes of slides, promises splashing fun into a refreshing pool.

5. Robin Hood Festival 2023

Embark on a captivating journey into the world of Nottingham's legendary outlaw, Robin Hood, at the 37th Robin Hood Festival in Sherwood Forest.
The festivities will continue for an entire month! They commence with outdoor movies by Adventure Cinema on 27th July, offering two versions of the iconic Robin Hood legend. Join the Sherwood Outlaws on Sunday 30th July for an exciting Hunt the Outlaw adventure.
Prepare to be enthralled by the Knights of Nottingham as they perform their thrilling Medieval jousting show on 4th August. The festival continues with diverse activities, talks, and demonstrations dedicated to the flora and fauna of Nottinghamshire's only National Nature Reserve.
Relive the Wars of the Roses on 19th and 20th August with dramatic re-enactment groups recreating one of the bloodiest eras of English history. The grand finale on August Bank Holiday Weekend will feature the Sherwood Outlaws in a captivating arena performance.
