1. Green Hustle Festival 2023

Back once again, Green Hustle Festival is a celebration of life and creativity that aims to make our city greener, healthier, and more connected. 
Join in and be part of an epic party of positivity, brought to you by talented Nottinghamshire creatives to independent makers and cultural institutions. festivities kick off from 6pm Friday at The Fox and Grapes, featuring nature bingo and live music, or enjoy an eco-conscious film (entry fees apply).

The festivals main course is Saturday to Sunday. Whether you’re after creative fun, wild entertainment, nature friendly activities, or just a good old fiesta, Green Hustle Festival has you covered. Dance to live music, chill to a film, sample the finest local street food, peruse art exhibitions, upcycle an old garment, shop sustainably around town, connect, and celebrate our town Nottingham.

2. Bolsover Castle- Kids Rule

Its Half-term and Bolsover Castle has the family fun covered this weekend.
Step back in time to a medieval coronation and see if you have what it takes to survive the banquet. Discover medieval manners and etiquette with the performers and learn about the most interesting coronations to take place in our history.

3. Sam Bailey performing with Vicky McClure's 'Our Dementia Choir

Wholesome musical entertainment and great food is on offer this weekend at Binks Yard – The Island quarter with Sam Bailey, the singer who stole the hearts of the nation by winning the tenth series of The X Factor.

Sam will also be performing alongside Vicky's McClure's 'Our Dementia Choir' in their Nottingham hometown.
Vicky McClure set up the choir in 2018, after caring for her grandma with dementia. Upon seeing the effect that music had on calming her down, Vicky created a choir of people living with dementia to explore whether music could make a difference to their lives. Which it most certainly can!
Enjoy incredible music, drinks and delicious food from the outdoor smoker, this is the perfect feel-good performance to kick-off your Summer!

4. Superhero Family Raceday - In aid of Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance

Sunday 4 June | Gates open 12:15  I Nottingham Racecourse Tickets – Adults £12 – Under 18’s Free

A perfect summer half term day out for the entire family, filled with comic book characters, super-hero workshops and of course plenty of racing!
A special competition is being held for any children wearing a superhero cape, so make sure they are prepared to take on the villains!
Local heroes will be found across the site, offering insights into their everyday duties to keep everyone safe! This should be a great experience and a brilliant opportunity to support a vital charity such as The Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.

5. Forbidden Forest Festival 2023

Following the first-ever camping edition of the Festival in July 2022, which saw a Forbidden Forest attendance of more than 30,000 gather in the grounds of the stunning Belvoir Castle to celebrate their shared love of electronic music, 2023 marks the return of Forbidden Forest for its eighth magical year.
Nottingham talents Bru-C & WindowKid will be making an appearance alongside Drum and Bass legend AndyC among other top tier underground artists.
