1. Castle Rock Yard Party

The Castle Rock Yard party is an annual two-day beer, music and food festival, hosted in Castle Rock's brewery yard and adjoining brewery tap, the Vat and Fiddle.Expect an insane line-up of beers from near and far, some of the best street food Notts has to offer, and a killer line-up of music to keep you dancing all day!

2. NTU Big Band Live

Get your glad rags on and end the week in style with NTU Music's award-winning Big Band at Metronome. Enjoy swing and jazz classics at this event, featuring a special guest performing your big band favourites. 3. Nottinghamshire County Show 

Saturday 13 May 2023 | From 9am - 5pm I Newark Showground I Tickets - Adult £15, Under 16's entry FREE

Taking the show back to its agricultural roots within the rural community of the Midlands, celebrating everything from livestock, equine, countryside competitions with trade stands, local food producers and craft stalls. Fun for all the family!

4. Brilliant Bats - Nature Walk at Sherwood Forest

Saturday 13 May 2023 | 8.30pm - 10.30pm I Sherwood Forest I Tickets - £15, £12 RSPB members

Take a night time stroll into Sherwood Forest with the Nottinghamshire Bat Group to discover more about bats. A number of varieties of this winged mammal live within the forest and you'll learn more during a talk from the group's expert members; you'll then head out among Sherwood's incredible ancient oaks, using a bat detector to locate the bats. 

5. Dog Fest at Belvoir Castle

Saturday 13 May - Sunday 14 May 2023 | 9.30am - 5pm I Belvoir Castle I Tickets - From £13 | Under 5s go free

Belvoir Castle has really gone to the dogs – for one weekend only! Bring along your furry companions for a canine celebration complete with the Big Dog Walk, Fun Dog Show and plenty of have-a-go activities to get stuck into. Spend quality time together and meet plenty of new two and four-legged friends.
