1. Dot to Dot Festival 2023

Fill your boots with music this Sunday across Nottingham city centre with Dot to Dot Festival 2023.
Headliners Yard Act will be performing at Rock City and with over 15 venues involved and more than 100 artists to see, you won’t be struggling to envelop yourself with the very best music the city has to offer.
Since starting in Nottingham in 2005 Dot To Dot Festival has established itself as the UK’s premier festival for unearthing the hottest new talent around, alongside established acts from all over the globe.
2. Luminarium: Terceradix

A visual journey awaits you at Lakeside Arts with the return of the giant inflatable Luminarium. Your senses will be enveloped with colour as you explore the space. The Luminarium sits within the grounds of the stunning Highfields park next to the Lakeside Arts gallery and cafe. Surrounded by 18th century achitecture, waterfalls and areas for the younger family members to play, this event will definitely be a popular one.
3. Nottingham Poetry Festival 2023

Creative culture descends on the city centre with Nottingham Poetry festival this Bank holiday weekend. Enjoy a selection of free festival events, from writing workshops, live music and open mics to secret poetry drop-ins - there is something for everyone.
Yomi Sode and the Gobs Collective feature at The Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall on the Sunday. Launching on the 25 May at The Fox & Grapes with a gigantic showcase of talent to get your teeth stuck into.
4. Vitality Blast – T20 Cricket at Trent Bridge

Nottingham Outlaws face Derbyshire Falcons on Friday in the T20 at Trent Bridge.
Fun for all ages, experience the fast paced Vitality Blast at one of the worlds finest venues for English cricket. Live DJ's, great food stalls and on pitch entertainment will all be part of the sporting spectacle.
5. Ultimate Strongman 2023

The strongest men will be competing for the coveted trophy at The Motorpoint Arena across a 3 day spectacular show.
The Channel 5 TV series will see current champion Paul Smith aiming to defend his title, although two-time winner Gavin Bilton from Wales will be aiming to take the top spot.
Eight of UK’s Strongest women will also be involved, performing record breaking challenges as a pre-show of the contest.
6. Sausage and Cider Festival 2023

With the weather looking to be warm and sunny, why not treat yourself to a selection of cold ciders and excellent food? The sausage and cider festival at Wollaton Hall & Deer Park is looking like the place to be. Toploader will be headlining alongside 7 tribute acts including Oasis96, Queen and Madness. A selection of over 20 varieties of Cider and 12 sausage options makes this a very delectable choice for your Saturday in the sun.
7. Steaming Days at Papplewick Pumping Station

8. Ibiza Orchestra Live

Another excellent night of music comes to Wollaton Hall & Deer Park this Friday. 9. The Palace Gardens of Southwelll Minster Open Day

Medieval history and natural beauty are on the agenda at Southwell Minster this Sunday.
Set amongst magnificent ruins of The Archbishop’s Palace, the Palace Garden is packed with shrubs, flowering plants, mature trees, lawns, and medieval herb gardens.
There will be refreshments, garden stalls and guided tours of the Potwell Dyke Grasslands which is home to over 200 plant species. All proceeds will be going to the National Garden Scheme to help nursing and health charities across the UK.
10. Vineyard Tour and Tastings

Enjoy a tipple? Then the Vineyard Tour and Tastings at The Wolds Wine Estate is just for you! Taking around 2 hours you will be guided through the vineyard to learn about English Viticulture and visit the cider orchard and Beehives. During the tour you will be able to sample the locally made wines and Estate craft cider with the opportunity to explore the vineyard on your own afterwards.
