1. Murder Mystery Night at Kelham Hall

Join the team at The Renaissance at Kelham Hall for this amazing Murder Mystery Event, in the beautiful 19th Century Stately Home.

Enjoy a night of incredible entertainment by the wonderful team at Murder One, a drink on arrival, a delicious three-course meal cooked by the award-winning catering team! The event is totally interactive, but you're not required to role play – the actors play the characters and you're encouraged to question the suspects at your table, follow and eavesdrop upon them, and an intriguing array of evidence is displayed around the function room – now turned into a major incident room!

2. Carlton Male Voice Choir Festival Concert Nights

Carlton's Festival Concert at Nottingham's Albert Hall is dubbed "The calm within the storm" by MD Ian Watts. Carlton sings in a variety of styles from big sings to quieter thoughtful pieces.Nottingham's largest lower voice choir is also hosting special guests Pitch and Mix, an A Cappella Barbershop choir adding another style. Carlton's guests also include performers from their Music Team, Roger Holland, John Sellers, and Anne Hall. 

3. A Tour of Sherwood Forest with the Sheriff of Nottingham

Want to know more about the legends of Sherwood Forest and its most famous inhabitant, Robin Hood? Sometimes you need a balanced perspective of the tales of the county's celebrated outlaw and who better to do that than his arch-enemy, the Sheriff of Nottingham?Venture into the ancient oaks of Sherwood with the Sheriff, who will regale visitors with his tales all the way to the 1,100-year-old Major Oak.

4. Castle Rock Brewery Beer Festival at Nottingham Racecourse

Back since 2019, Nottingham Racecourse are over the moon to be hosting a Castle Rock Brewery Beer Festival this April. Have a day of beers and cheers this light Spring evening of not only fantastic racing, but local brewery, Castle Rock Brewery will be showcasing it's excellent range of brews for all racegoers to enjoy. Skip the Saturday night usual for the evening and bring your mates down to Nottingham Racecourse!

5. St George's Day

Sunday 23 April 2023 | 11pm - 3pm I Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre & Nature Reserve I Free (parking charges apply) person

Throughout St George's Day at Sherwood Forest, you'll be able to learn more about what it meant to be a knight of the realm and fight upon the battlefields of Medieval Europe.

The Sherwood Outlaws will be demonstrating the combat techniques and tactics which could win - or lose - a bloody battle. There'll be longbow demonstrations too, highlighting just why this weapon was one of the most feared on the field of war during Robin Hood's Day.
