Every time I get a chance to see a show at Capital FM Arena Nottingham I get excited because I know they are always brilliant. Nothing can compare to being a part a crowd of ten thousand singing, and dancing together to the same tune. The Capital FM Arena gives you that and much more.

After we interviewed McBusted before their Most Excellent Adventure 2015 (MEAT) Arena Tour I couldn't wait until they returned to Nottingham to do their show. I knew I would have a great time and neither the venue nor the band disappointed me and my date.

We arrived at the Arena fifteen minutes before the show began. Staff members were perfectly trained in handling large crowds. We didn't have to wait long in line even though it was really busy outside as well as inside the venue. When we arrived at our block we were greeted with a smile and were shown to our seats. We were early enough to see both support acts Symmetry and New City Kings. They did a great job in warming-up the crowd for the main act of the night. It was the first time we heard them performing and we both really enjoyed their music.

We were looking forward to McBusted as we knew how successful their 2014 tour turned out to be. McBusted announced their original eleven arena date tour of 2014 with the initial dates selling out in an hour. Due to phenomenal demand from fans and the general public, the tour eventually played to a staggering 350,000 people across an amazing 35 arenas, before culminating in a show stopping headline performance at Hyde Park to 60,000 people. McBusteds MEAT tour consisted of 21 dates across UK, Ireland, Wales and Scotland. Nottingham was the only city in England that had two dates for the tour which clearly showed the popularity of McBusted in the East Midlands.

When the boys got on stage the crowd went crazy. The volume of screams seemed higher than the music itself. The crowd was dancing and singing along to the old classics. We had a great time, the atmosphere was amazing. The show consisted of a good lineup of old classics and new hits. We especially liked the stage setup, it looked like a huge video game machine with the members singing in it. They even had a video game tournament against each other in one of the breaks between the songs.  The show was great fun for everyone, the place was buzzing. After the show finished and we were walking back home we heard great comments about both the venue and the show itself. People were really pleased with the service at the Arena and ecstatic about McBusted.

We’re looking forward to future shows especially Nickelback and Imagine Dragons! #HighlyRecommend
