Sometimes there is nothing harder than satisfying hungry tummies in our household. I have a husband who loves Chinese food, a child who likes Indian food and then me who pretty much goes with the flow to keep the peace. Imagine my horror then when recently I had a family party to arrange and with differing ages and so many different tastes to cater for I was near panic with where we could go. It was suggested to me that we try Red Hot World Buffet located in the Cornerhouse in the city centre and boy am I glad they did. Upon sitting down we were amazed at just how much was packed into this restaurant with the vastest range of cuisines from Italian and Chinese right through to Tex Mex and Indian. We placed our drinks order and then we were off, plate in hand, to wander around and take in all that was on offer to us. There were quite literally hundreds of choices so even for the fussiest eater (and we had a couple with us!) there was definitely something for everyone. The food is prepared freshly every day by a team of 5* chefs who pay great attention to detail, the ‘live stations’ are particularly impressive and ensure that you get your dish just how you like it. You might be fooled into thinking that you can’t eat healthily but at Red Hot Buffet you actually can, much to my delight. Fabulous salad bars, pasta and even sushi were available while our younger members of the group devoured all manner of foods including curries, peri peri chicken, kebab skewers and fabulous desserts such as cheesecake, tiramisu and caramel crème brulee to name but a few. To say the family were impressed by the food and its quality was an understatement. This was the best choice of restaurant that we could have made. The final added bonus was when the bill came and we saw that the kids under 10 ate for half price! When you have four little monsters to provide for this was an unexpected but very welcome treat and something which is remarkably on offer all year round. As well as this children under the age of three also eat for free at Red Hot World Buffet making it the ultimate dining experience for your family. With an impending half term almost upon us it’s a no brainer where we will be dining next week. For further information on Red Hot World Buffet please visit the website.
