New stylish accommodation opens in Nottingham

The luxury apartment-hotel operator, Birchover Hotel Apartments, have continued their expansion by opening in Nottingham.

The Birchover Residences Nottingham is a collection of just five apartments in a converted bank on Victoria Street, in the heart of Nottingham city centre. The Residences are situated halfway between the tram stops at Lace Market and Market Square – being a one minute walk from each.

Located in a converted bank, each of the two bedroom apartments are spacious and luxuriously furnished to a very high standard. The apartments have been restored to be sympathetic to the original architecture of the bank, with some apartments featuring original fireplaces, vaulted ceilings and the penthouse apartment has a private roof terrace. All apartments benefit from free Wifi, Sky television including Sky Sports, daily housekeeping and a complimentary welcome pack on arrival.

The Birchover Residences Nottingham opened in June 2014 with an official Grand Opening night in partnership with the renowned delicatessen and licensed cafe, Delilah Fine Foods, which occupies the ground floor of the property. The reaction from tourism officials, local companies, business organisations and booking agencies has been extremely positive to date. Furniture has been sourced from Zing Furniture of Shardlow and guests are already showing interest in purchasing signature pieces from Zing.

Birchover have been operating since 1997 and already have a fantastic reputation in Derby, where their flagship Darley Abbey hotel has been the number 1 ranked hotel within Derby city on Trip Advisor since 2012. Every one of the 40 apartments there has a sauna.

The company also operate a smaller 12 bedroom property and a collection of private homes in Derby and a 30 bedroom property on a golf course in France.

In December 2013, Birchover were named The Best Small Hotel to Work For in the UK at the Caterer Hospitality Awards. The business is owned by husband and wife team Carl and Lisa Bridge.
