We caught up with the YouNG Network Group about an event they're planning specifically for young people in West Bridgford: The YouNG Market is the first of many Rushcliffe events organized by young people for young people. It’ll be held on Saturday 6 July at Central Avenue, West Bridgford from 12 noon until 5pm. The market has been organized by Rushcliffe's very own YouNG Network Group. We wanted to organise an event for young people to show the public what they can do - and the YouNG Market is the place where it’ll all happen. Young people will be able to show off their talents – as stallholders or performers. Stallholders will be selling their very own handmade products to the residents of Rushcliffe, and will be able to keep 100% of the profits. Performers will be there to entertain the crowds and to show them what they can do. We have already got a variety of acts lined up from acrobatics to rock bands! Did I also mention these opportunities are completely free? If you’re sat there wishing you’d have got involved earlier on this incredible chance, don’t worry you still can! There are places open for performers and stallholders. If you wish to apply, visit our blog  for more details or tweet us at @YoungWeareYouNG. Bear in mind you do have to be 13-21 and either live or study in the Borough of Rushcliffe. If you would like to come along to the market on the day to see Rushcliffe’s amazing talent - we can guarantee you won’t have seen anything like this ever before!
