We’re definitely feeling the Christmas spirit as we approach advent, and there are plenty of events across Nottinghamshire to get you in good cheer as the festive season starts. Throughout December some of our most scenic country houses, castles and ducal estates are transformed with Christmas magic and host some fabulously festive events, including Wollaton Hall, Newstead Abbey, Chatsworth House and Bolsover Castle to name but a few.

There’s always something interesting happening at Nottingham Lakeside Arts, the University of Nottingham's unique public arts centre and museum.
