Ghost Tours

It’s the season of the supernatural and there’s plenty of haunting history to discover in Nottingham, as chilling tales await on one of the many ghost tours running this weekend. Walk in the footsteps of the condemned and learn about the paranormal experiences within the National Justice Museum, or discover the strange and scary stories of the city’s industrial heritage. Sceptics who enjoy a good scare should join Ezekial Bone on his Guts and Gore tour to hear true tales of murder, misery and mayhem and discover the more horrid elements of our history on the streets where it happened.

Wollaton Hall is not only one of the grandest buildings in Nottingham, it’s also amongst the most haunted. On their behind the scenes tour there will be no gimmicks or fancy dress, just the terrifying tales of the unexplained events and apparitions at one of Nottingham’s most beautiful buildings. There are similarly spooky things afoot at Newstead Abbey, where the Wine and Wicked Ghosts tour will introduce the host of ghosts and ghouls, which haunt the ancestral home of Lord Byron, including the Goblin Friar and mysterious White Lady. Perhaps the mad, bad and dangerous to know poet himself will make an appearance.
