Halloween is creeping closer and the dark nights are drawing in, so are you brave enough to lend a hand to create a spooky shelter within the forest?
Sherwood Forest is inviting children to build a den fit for a witch or warlock to cast their spells and make potions in as part of their fun Halloween half term holiday activities.
There will be spine-tingling tales from a storyteller and hot chocolate to see off the shivers. Why not dress up in your favourite scary costume too?
All materials will be provided, and children are encouraged to wear gloves to protect their hands while building the den. Each child must be accompanied by an adult, who'll get to take part for free.
Check the website and the Visit Sherwood Facebook page for updates.
Children must be accompanied by an adult (grown-ups go free!). Not recommended for children under 6 years old.
