About

Monday 15 - Sunday 21 July 2024
Highfields Sports Complex, University Boulevard

Nottingham welcomes the world this July for the tenth Touch Rugby World Cup. Around 4,000 players, referees, coaches and support staff will make up the 189 teams representing 39 nations between at the University of Nottingham's Highfields and Riverside Sports Complexes.

Nottingham is England's leading city when it comes to Touch Rugby. Home to one of the country's biggest Touch Rugby clubs, the city also boasts the reigning British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) University Touch Championships title-holders - Nottingham Trent University - with the University of Nottingham also well established within the competition. There is a thriving social league scene throughout the year, and Nottingham Touch Club will be well represented with the 13 England teams which will compete at the World Cup.

Highfields Sports Complex has already hosted multiple European Touch Rugby Championships (2018 and 2022) and the inaugural Atlantic Youth Touch Rugby Cup in 2023.

Entry is free throughout the week and all are welcome. Find out more: Touch World Cup 2024 | England Touch
