Before he tackled the Zodiac Killer, David Fincher's breakout 1995 film was concerned with another serial killer. In a corrupt, perpetually wet, and crime-riddled city, old-timer Detective Lieutenant William Somerset is paired up with newbie cop David Mills to investigate a series of murders that seems to be based on the seven deadly sins.
