Rachael Calladine is a well-known face on the UK jazz and soul scene, having performed many times with her band at all the famous London venues that have established her as one of the UK's top jazz and soul vocalists. She’s played 35 shows at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club (most recently in June 2022), alongside appearances at venues such as Pizza on the Park, the London Jazz Festival, the 606 Club, the 100 Club, and the Jazz Café. She has also appeared as vocalist and vocal coach for NYJO (where she tutored the late Amy Winehouse), performed duo gigs with Ian Shaw, and worked with jazz legends like John Dankworth, Alan Barnes, Jim Mullen, and many others.
Also well known to hip hop/jazz fans as the ex-lead vocalist with the London-based band Us3 (Cantaloop/Flip Fantasia, Blue Note Records, EMI), Rachael toured Europe extensively with the band, appearing at the Blue Note Milan, Gurtenfest Switzerland, and MTV festivals. She’s performed regularly alongside artists such as Jamiroquai, The Brand New Heavies, Incognito, Amy Winehouse, and Joss Stone.
As a songwriter, Rachael has a catalogue of internationally released material, 3 solo albums, and high-profile compilations such as Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Volume 2, Hed Kandi, Roger Sanchez, and Café Del Mar. Rachael has recently celebrated 3 number-1 releases on the Tracksource Soulful House Chart in the past 12 months.
After spending 10 years singing at the highest level in Dubai (performing at places like the Burj Al Arab, Dubai International Jazz Fest, Emirates Palace, and Armani Hotel), Rachael is now back in the UK and Europe, re-establishing herself with recent sell-out gigs at London’s Ronnie Scott's and The 606 Club. She is currently signed to Major Underground/Sony Music Italy.
This is a special opportunity to catch Rachael in an intimate setting, performing an eclectic mix of jazz and soul with her incredible quartet.
