Pat McCarthy Quartet ft Shannon Reilly
Pat is an extremely in-demand jazz guitarist with an instantly recognisable style - Shannon is a vocalist of exceptional quality who grew up listening to Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day and Peggy Lee
Pat McCarthy has played with some of the UK's top musicians, including Alan Barnes, Jim Mullen, Pete King, Kenny Wheeler, Tina May, Gilad Atzmon, George Melly, Digby Fairweather, Enrico Tommaso & Dennis Rollins to name just a few.
Ever self-deprecating, he has an instantly recognisable style and sound that makes him an extremely in-demand jazz guitarist. His latest project with vocalist Shannon Reilly and bassist Warren Jolly has received much acclaim, culminating in their album 'Trouble'.
Shannon Reilly is a vocalist of exceptional quality and her spellbinding performances have captivated audiences across the UK. She has been singing since the age of five and grew up listening to Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day and Peggy Lee. Although she developed her style listening to these iconic singers, she is very much her own woman.
Multi-instrumentalist, Thom Whitworth joins them on trumpet (and guitar) "He [Thom] conveys the spirit of the music with effortless control and delivery. This is superb music that manages to pull off that difficult trick of having a broad appeal whilst still satisfying the jazz connoisseur." – Gill Wilde, Jazz Promoter of the Year.
"The most talked about gig of the week." – John Holland, Lincoln Jazz Festival.
