Nottingham Arboretum
Free event

Nottingham Green Festival has been running for over 30 years and returns on Sunday 8 September 2024 at the Arboretum.

The Green Festival is a free event organised by volunteers and local community organisations. This fun-filled family-friendly event also has a serious intent - to share skills and knowledge to tackle the ongoing climate crisis, biodiversity loss and other environmental concerns.

There are lots of things to see and do including:

  • Live music from local artists at The Bandstand. All cash donations raised at the bandstand during the event will go towards next year's event
  • Family Zone including Docotr Bike - all activities free to children
  • Vegan food
  • Craft stalls featuring small green businesses
  • The Knowledge Garden by the Chinese bell - join in discussions about climate change and biodiversity
  • The Green Festival Online: Please visit their website for online resources.

So get ready to come along to this great long-running event. Have some fun with the family and help to give the planet a safer future.

It's the place for everyone to learn, explore & try the latest in everything environmentally friendly & ethical, in the beautiful setting of the Arboretum Park.

Event by Nottingham Green Festival and Sumac Centre.

Nottingham Green Festival is organised by grass roots community based volunteers, not-for-profit and with no statutory funding. The ethical standards and sustainability / environmental / human / animal rights ethos of the FREE one day event are long established, having evolved from the pre-history of Nottingham Peace Festival from which it grew.
