Bored to death with the usual Ghost Tours? The truth is stranger than fiction!
Join Nottingham ghost Mr Bone as he haunts the Lace Market, telling grisly tales of Guts & Gore. Stand where horrible history happened and hear true tales of murder, hanging, grave-robbing, misery and mayhem that took place amidst the finery and foulness of old Nottingham town.
Fancy tales of the dead being uprooted from their graves in St Mary’s churchyard? Imagine the time when hundreds of people turned blue and squirted themselves to death! Become part of the baying crowd and enjoy the last public hanging on the steps of the Old County Gaol. Hear how the infamous Lord Byron quenched his thirst for the macabre with a monk’s skull. Thirsty for more?
Great family fun… especially the tale about the dismembered boy.
That’s my favourite one.
Tours take approximately 2 hours and end in the caves beneath The Angel pub.
This tour is also available for private bookings. To arrange your tour contact Ezekial Bone on 07941 210 986 or email contact@ezekialbone.com.
