Ever wondered how a Medieval building was constructed and decorated?
While fresh building conservation and repair work is underway at St Mary's, join the team for a look at how the building was originally built.
The first stones were laid more than 800 years ago in the building of St Mary Magdalene. This fun family-friendly afternoon will demonstrate how Medieval stonemasons built St Mary's and other Medieval buildings with no modern technology, and often with no ability to read or write.
Join The Company of Artisans and St Mary Magdalene as they demonstrate Medieval craftmanship. Try your hand at making tiles, or plan your own Medieval building!
