Live Stand Up Comedy

Join them for a fantastic night of live comedy, featuring some of the brightest and best comics in the country. Enjoy hours of laughter with these incredible acts :

Ian Whitcombe (MC)

Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Taskmaster and Britain’s Got Talent are just a few of the programmes Ian’ has never appeared on. The list is literally endless!

Groan-inducing puns, sparkling one-liners and stories about where doctors like to put their fingers mean that this act is a must-see.

Jon Wagstaffe (Headliner)

Jon is Tewkesbury’s finest and only stand-up comic. His take on modern life will have any audience in fits of laughter. He is also devilishly good-looking and has beautiful hair. he has won Oi Oi New Act  (Slough), Comedy Gladiators (Saltford) and Spiky Mike’s Gong Show (Funhouse Comedy).

Alex Camp (Opener)

Alex Camp is an upbeat musical act, blending sharp, absurd and sometimes dirty jokes with catchy irreverent songs and combining his flair for crowd work with guitar skills to generate unique, hilarious sets that are a little different every time. Starting out in Tokyo, Japan with the renowned Stand Up Tokyo crew, opening for Aziz Ansari, Phil Wang, Lou Sanders, Neal Brennan and many more, he moved to Manchester just before the pandemic but has racked up spots at the Frog and Bucket, Hot Water Comedy, Alexander’s and more. A talented MC as well as an act, he runs nights in Manchester at Matt and Phred’s and the Dulcimer and recently came off a sold-out Edinburgh split hour. Alex also runs Lay Down Comedy and Full Swing Comedy in Manchester

Harry Jenkins

The youngest comedian in the show is Harry Jenkins, who is absolutely ripping the comedy scene apart with his irreverent take on life. His stage craft and audience work is incredible and this has shown as he’s romped to victory in numerous comedy competitions. Harry is certainly one to watch and delighted he could join the show.

Ros Hale

Inventive, delightful and super grim, Ros is an award winning radio presenter. She won the King Gong show at the Comedy store, and loves to share her crude storytelling and passion for home made instruments.

Eric Max Powers

Eric Max Powers is an African story telling comedian but British when he needs to be, Eric talks about growing up in England and becoming a dad abit silly, somewhat serious overall funny “The absolute highlight of the night. Well-crafted material, comfortably delivered.” Kung fu pug comedy Solid material – Notts comedy review
