Welcome to the Gloworm Festival 2025, a vibrant three-day family event set amidst the picturesque landscapes of Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire. Scheduled from August 8th to 10th, 2025, this festival is meticulously crafted for adults and their little ones, offering a warm, welcoming, and creative environment where families can unwind, play, and create lasting memories. ​

Festival Overview

Now in its ninth year, the Gloworm Festival is dedicated to celebrating children aged 0-13, while ensuring there's plenty for teenagers and adults to enjoy. The festival's ethos revolves around the belief that children are the most important people in the world, and this is reflected in the diverse range of activities and entertainment on offer. ​

Main Stage Highlights

The Main Stage is set to dazzle attendees with a stellar lineup of performances:​

  • Friday Night: The festival kicks off with performances by Paul Chuckle, plus tributes to Blur and Sabrina Carpenter.
  • Saturday: Enjoy shows by Justin Fletcher, Rozalla, the Playmobil Rave, The Killerz, West End Kids, and Bodgers Badger. 
  • Sunday: The festival concludes with performances by Andy & The Odd Socks, Black Lace Legend Dene Michael, another Playmobil Rave, Arctic Roll, a Dua Lipa tribute, and West End Kids.

Interactive Zones and Activities

Beyond the Main Stage, the festival boasts a plethora of interactive zones designed to engage and entertain:​

  • Meet & Greet: Children have the opportunity to meet their favourite TV stars and characters, creating unforgettable moments. ​
  • Playmobil Village: An interactive area where children can immerse themselves in the world of Playmobil, fostering creativity and imaginative play. ​
  • Organix Big Picnic: A delightful space where families can enjoy wholesome snacks and participate in fun-filled activities. ​
  • Into The Woods: An enchanting woodland area offering storytelling sessions, nature crafts, and exploration activities that connect children with nature. ​
  • Actual Reality Arcade: A life-sized interactive game zone inspired by classic arcade games, bringing a unique blend of nostalgia and fun. ​
  • The Hive: A creative hub where children can engage in various arts and crafts activities, encouraging self-expression and creativity. ​
  • The Beach: A sandy oasis within the festival grounds, perfect for building sandcastles and enjoying seaside-themed fun. ​
  • Great Outdoors: An area dedicated to outdoor adventures, including activities like archery, climbing, and more, promoting physical activity and teamwork. ​
  • Circus: Experience the magic of the circus with thrilling performances and workshops that teach juggling, acrobatics, and clowning. ​
  • Creative Play Zone: A space designed to stimulate imagination through various play-based activities, ensuring children are both entertained and inspired. ​
  • CBeebies: Special appearances and activities featuring beloved CBeebies characters, ensuring younger children have a magical experience. 
  • Paw Patrol: Meet and interact with characters from Paw Patrol, offering excitement for fans of the popular show. ​

Tickets and Camping Options

The festival offers a variety of ticketing and accommodation options to suit different preferences:​

  • Camping: Campers can arrive from 12 pm on Friday, August 8th, and stay until 12 pm on Monday, August 11th. The campsite provides ample space, with pitches measuring up to 7 meters by 5 meters. Facilities include access to toilets and showers, ensuring a comfortable stay. ​
  • Park & Pitch: For those bringing campervans, caravans, motorhomes, or trailer tents, the Park & Pitch option offers a 7m x 5m space, including power hookup. This area is separate from standard camping to ensure a tailored experience for all attendees. ​
  • Glamping: For a luxurious camping experience, bell tents equipped with memory foam mattresses, rugs, tables, and fairy lights are available. These tents can accommodate up to 3 or 4 people, providing a hassle-free and comfortable stay. ​

Food and Drink

A diverse selection of food and drink vendors will be present, offering a range of culinary delights to cater to all tastes.
