National Civil War Centre
Normal aadmission charges apply (Free for Newark and Sherwood Residents)
Set sail this half-term with Open Doors' Artist in Residence, Vanessa Stone, for FREE creative half-term fun! Find Vanessa in the Palace Theatre foyer on Tuesday 13 until Friday 16 February, from 11am to 2pm.
You will be making your own paper boats and colouring them in ready for them to be sent down the collaborative paper version of the river Trent, which you'll also have the chance to doodle and draw on! This activity has been heavily influenced by 'Motion for the Ocean' and Vanessa is excited to put her creative spin on this!
After your creative session, why not head through the Newark Galleries to see what you can find as part of the national Kids in Museums Twitchers Museum Adventure!
