Join Nottingham Contemporary and their experienced Play & Learn Facilitators and book your FREE place on their We Are Wonderlings workshops.
You and your little one can explore the world through sensory free play, in a safe and stimulating environment. Each session is themed to make every visit special.
From babes in arms, to bum shufflers, snoozers and movers, these are workshops for different age categories, just so we can focus on those important developmental stages.
Each session is an hour, and takes place in our Space on the following Mondays:

If you have more than one child and they span the age ranges, please book for the older child's age group.

We are Wonderlings is supported by the generous donations from supporters and match funded by the Big Give. Nottingham Contemporary are extremely grateful to all who support their Early Years programme.
Sharewear have kindly donated clothing for the Early Years participants to set up a clothing swap. Any clothing you no longer need please bring along so they can add to the swap shop. They also have free nappies available just in case you've forgotten yours or are running low!
You can also make a day of it, by visiting the Nottingham Central Library for lots of free fun and it's just over the road!
Nottingham Contemporary are also taking part in the Robin Hood's Adventure Trail, a wonderful and free city-centre mission for you and your family.

These activities are held in a large ground floor area, called The Space.
They create a sensory and immersive environment.
There is a smaller designated sensory area in these workshops.
Adult and child noise reducing headphones are available on request.
They have a Changing Places facility.
They are a Breastfeeding Welcome venue.
All of their Play & Learn Facilitators hold a current DBS certificate.
All of their Play & Learn Facilitators have regular safeguarding training.
They have staff on duty who are First Aid at Work, and Paediatric First Aid, trained.
They are a member of the Family Arts Campaign and part of the local Nottingham Network Group with cultural friends.
Entry to the exhibitions and the family activities is free.
Their Gallery Assistants are on hand to support a happy and safe environment. Please help by listening to their guidance and let them know if you need any assistance or guidance during your visit.
Nottingham Contemporary ask for you not to take food and drink inside the exhibitions, however you are more than welcome to have your snacks and drinks if attending our Family Activities in The Space.
