The annual D.H. Lawrence Festival will return this summer with an extended six-week programme of cultural events celebrating Lawrence himself, as well as art, music, heritage, literature and community, plus a host of family friendly activities in and around Eastwood.
The festival, which has been co-produced by the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum, D.H. Lawrence Society, Haggs Farm Preservation Society, Broxtowe Women’s Project, Eastwood Town Council and Ben Mark Smith of the D.H. Lawrence Music Festival will open on 1 August until 14 September with a packed programme of 30+ events to enjoy.
The D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum on Victoria Street, Eastwood is inviting visitors to pop in to the museum on 1 August between 1.00pm and 4.00pm for refreshments, to pick up their festival brochure and learn more about this year’s festival programme from museum experts.
