The festive season kicks off in the city from November 2024 with the Nottingham Winter Wonderland opening its doors. You can expect all the firm favourites this year including traditional chalet style market stalls, festive attractions, pop up bars and a dazzling 60ft grand fir Christmas tree, decked out with 4,000 red and white lights!
Over at Lakeside Arts, you can enjoy the return of the much anticipated Lustre Craft Fair from 8th - 10th November. The perfect opportunity for some Christmas shopping in Nottingham, you can expect to see stalls from 50 of today's top designer-makers and craft artists from around the country. All exhibitors are hand-picked to give you the best in covetable, collectable craft, showcasing jewellery, textiles, ceramics, glass, leather, wood and much, much more. You can even commission unique gifts direct from the makers and talk to them about their work.
It's in Nottingham are once again hosting a Christmas Market at Nottingham Castle. Browse a variety of stalls offering a wide range of gifts, decorations and tasty treats and enjoy live music, carol singing, family-friendly entertainment, delicious food and warming sips of mulled wine as you soak up the Christmas atmosphere.
Christmas Markets throughout Nottinghamshire
An award winning outdoor market with 70+ stall holders offering quality crafts, produce and provisions, the Ruddington Village Market runs on the first Saturday of each month throughout the year. Stop by on Saturday 7th December to grab yourself a fantastic gift!
Enjoy the Christmas Market at Sutton in Ashfield Library on Saturday 16th November. Drop into the free market from 10am - 2pm and browse crafts and products from local creators and small businesses. You can find everything from handknitted bobble hats to special jewellery and so much more! You can also enjoy a Christmas Market at Mansfield Central Library and a Christmas Market at Eastwood Library on Saturday 23rd November.
Enjoy a Christmissy weekend at Winterfest: Thoresby Arts and Crafts Fair! You can epxect a variety of craft and gift stalls perfect for that Christmas shopping plus family entertainment.
Join Newstead Abbey for an enchanting Christmas filled with magical moments and memories at Snowed in at Newstead from 23rd November. During weekends before Christmas, you can browse craft stalls in the medieval cloisters that offer a range of crafts and gifts.
Get into the holiday spirit at Rufford Abbey's Mini Christmas Market, taking place every weekend from 16th November to 22nd December. Open from 10am to 4pm, this festive market is an ideal destination for seasonal shopping and enjoying the festive atmosphere.
A mixture of returning favourites and new stallholders are all lined up for this year's Winter Craft Fair at Southwell Minster. This year, the event will run over two days: Friday 8th November from 4-8pm and Saturday 9th November from 10am – 4pm. There will be around 60 stalls selling a wide range of goods in the Minster, as well as an additional 15 in the stunning State Chamber of The Archbishop's Palace next door. This is one of the region's most loved events and is the perfect place to pick up a gift for a loved one whilst helping support independent businesses. You can expect jewellery, ceramics, glassware, textiles, hand-crafted cards and much more.
You can also enjoy a Christmas Market at Norwood Park on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December. Fabulous stallholders will be located within the rooms and grounds for you to browse with a hot chocolate and a mince pie. The charm and history of Norwood Park is the perfect setting for a festive Christmas Market!
