Calling all pirates and mermaids!
The wildlife park has taken to the shimmering seven seas to bring families some swashbucklin' fun this summer. Youngsters are encouraged to come in their favourite pirate or mermaid dress up and show their swagger to create some legendary selfies with spot prizes for the best fancy dress.
Take the pirates and mermaid trail around the park to find which creatures are lurking and you can earn yourself some sweet treasure!
Will you be lucky enough to find a hidden treasure chest? If you are, take it to the Jungle Gift shop to exchange it for a prize.
The Realms of Camelot, play parks and sandpits are open daily for children of all ages to let off steam and cool off in the super splash zone whilst grown-ups get sprinkled or relax and take it easy in a hammock or deckchair and watch them play away. Older children can enjoy the zipwires and all the simple pleasures of summer sports from frisbee and ball games to skipping and hula hoops. Don't forget your bucket and spade!
Families can bring along a delicious picnic or share a sunny treat at the Seaside Snack Stop or Butterfly Cafe or relax inside or outside Lottie's Coffee Lounge.
The Tropical Butterfly House is open daily 10am - 5.00pm, normal admission charges apply.
