Let's Make a Soundtrack!
BBC Concert Orchestra Family Orchestra & Chorus
Saturday 22 March, 10.00am-4pm (rehearsal), Bluecoat Aspley Academy
Sunday 23 March, 10am – 2pm (rehearsal), 3pm (performance), Metronome, Nottingham
Join our Family Orchestra & Chorus to make music together in a fun and friendly environment with musicians from the BBC Concert Orchestra. Together you will create your own unique soundtrack for a BBC video.
The event will take place over the weekend of 22 and 23 March 2025 including one day of composition and rehearsal and then an opportunity to share the piece with other friends and family.
Who can get involved? All ages, generations, instruments and abilities are welcome! No experience needed.
There are only two rules… you must be over 7 years of age and please do not come alone. We would like to welcome multiple members of all kinds of families – familial, found and formed.
No instrument? No problem, you can join the chorus or percussion family.
You do not need to know how to read music, just be able to bring enthusiasm for creating music with others.
Don't miss this chance to learn something new and get creative as part of the Soundstage Festival and BBC Concert Orchestra's residency in Nottingham!
To join the Family Orchestra & Chorus just fill in the booking form here
Please note: All participating children aged 17 and below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Accompanying parents/guardians need to fill in a separate form for each person attending.
This event is part of Soundstage Festival.
