On this classic yet impressive trail you will visit 14 of the best real ale pubs and venues around Nottingham City Centre. You can expect to stop at local favourites such as Kean's Head, the Cock & Hoop Pub, and Vat and Fiddle as well as historically important and famous venues such as the Malt Cross, Canalhouse and Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem.
Architectural Real Ale Trail
This popular trail showcases some of the most spectacular buildings in Nottingham City Centre along with delightful local ales, or a selection of venues highlighting a specific food item or cuisine type. You will also see iconic venues such as the Malt Cross, Canalhouse and Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem.
DIY Wine Tasting and Trail
Book yourself a place at the Tasting Room tables at Hanwell Wine Estate for a relaxed wine tasting and vineyard trail at your own pace. This includes 6 sample wines from the Hanwell family vineyards and other vineyards from the Midlands or North. After your tasting you can choose to follow the vineyard trail or remain in the Tasting Room or on the Terrace for bar service wines by the glass or bottle.
Each participant will receive a tray of 6 wines including traditional method Nottinghamshire Sparking. The wines are accompanied by wine tasting notes and the vineyard trail map with points of interest along the way. The trail is less than 1km.
Newark Foodie Trail
Newark is a charming market town located just off the A1 on the east side of Nottinghamshire. The historic and picturesque market town boasts many heritage attractions and activities along with a range of hotels and breakfasts for an overnight stay.
