Parker's Yard

About

Parker's Yard prides itself in welcoming you with a selection of drinks and light bites, as well as crafts and gifts from local producers and artists.

Craft and gift shop

Recently upgraded to include a discrete and secure reception area, our craft and gift shop offers a wide range of knitted items, craft and jewellery kits, from local producers and artists.

If local history piques your interests, the shop is well stocked with books about the museum, its history, Victorian life, and historical books about Nottingham.

Greetings Cards & Gift Cards

Our greetings cards are exclusive and have been specially created for us by a local artist. They come in a choice of designs inspired by the museum, and all are left blank, so they will be perfect for any occasion. Why not include a gift card and make that greeting card even extra special.

Gift cards can be purchased separately for any value and spent on museum admission, the shop or the café.

Commissions & Suppliers

We may be able to produce special commissions using our knitting frames and circular sock machines. If you are interested in having something specially made and unique for you, please enquire at the counter or email us with details of your request.

We like to support local craftspeople, so if you would like to sell your work with us, or perhaps run workshops, then please get in touch.

Parker's Yard café

Since 2015 Jen has been running The Split Screen Coffee Company from her beautifully converted 1965 VW split window camper van. Now they are bringing their delicious coffee, grilled sandwiches, salads, cakes and much more to Parker's Yard.

You can enjoy all of this within our peaceful and unique setting for breakfast, brunch and lunch. In addition to our indoor seating, we also have an enclosed courtyard and stunning cottage garden.

Dogs are also welcome (on leads).
